Timoria
The Den of the Timoria.
A safe haven for anyone--and anything--on the run from the Klouvi. Werewolves, vampires, witches...all are welcome.
The pack leader, like her mothers before her, has sworn to protect and hide her pack from the clutches of the Klouvi. She's the leader of the Den, a small subset of the Timoria, an organization bigger than even she knows. Every generation of the Den's leaders have been fierce. If anyone has a problem with members of her pack, they face her. If a mission needs to be run, she is the first to sign on. The pack leader, always from the same line, is a werewolf, as her mother before her was. They run missions in their human forms to protect the pack, though they spend their time here at the Den as wolves. The mission of each leader is to protect her pack from the Klouvi and any other enemy that dare show itself. They shut down supply routes to the Klouvi, and put out hits on those who fund it--if they don't get to the targets first.
Each member of the pack has their unique story, but none are actually wolves. Many are werewolves. The rest have come here seeking shelter or revenge and were gifted the ability to shift into a wolf by the pack herbalist and resident magic worker. That ability comes with the cost of baring your soul to your pack, as your true nature appears like clues in the patterns and colors of your fur.
This role was previously held by Darcel of the Dreamlands. Darcel left his world behind to find his mate here, discovering her in this pack. This came with the startling discovery of the Dreamland.
Cinder, the Den's founder had had her suspicions. The world she was visiting in her dreams seemed far too real. The lost wolf pup that appeared to Itsuki, past herbalist and witch, came bearing owl talons for charms and was no hallucination. When Darcel humbly requested acceptance into the pack, after a very long explanation, he gifted Cinder a teardrop, which her predecessors now posses. This gift allows the wearer to enter the Dreamland when the barrier between worlds is thinnest: on a full moon. Worlds are now colliding. With the coming and goings of these worlds, one into the other and vice versa, the Dreamland is leaking into this one as this one spills into the Dreamlands. More and more of the touch of the Dreamlands is appearing in Neona's pack members. Their wolf forms are demonstrating their unique patterns more and more as we see selene and lupus markings. These findings are now natural, and some bearing them are even found with gifts of magic or ability.
With the good also comes the bad. Just as the Den swears to protect members from enemies in this world, they are now bound to protect the pack from enemies existing in the Dreamlands. Keane has played a large role in this. Recruited here by Reika, a Den leader, Keane was a warrior of the Dreamlands and he further solidified this packs unique blend of this world and the next.
The ages of Neona's pack members, like many of its members, are also not what they seem...because of the charms and magic worked by the herbalist, the age of each wolf merely reflects how long they've been able to shift to their wolf form and thus how long they've been in the pack. When a member has 'passed away' that could be all there was, leaving the pack in mourning. However, it could also mean that they've removed their charms, allowing them to re-enter the outside world and take a new path, the Den of the Timoria having served them well.
