Poly Paradise
Origins
This story begins in Polynesia; where a young, capable wolf, Mana, was swept out to sea and drifted across the Pacific. Surviving aboard a massive piece of driftwood, and off of rainwater and fish, Mana eventually made landfall to a flourishing Deciduous Forest. Naturally, Mana began exploring the biome; stocking up food, finding water sources, clearing out enemies, and befriending other lone wolves. After only a couple of months, Mana was able to establish a decently sized following. Most notable of the followers was Papahanaumoku, a confident female wolf of considerable ability. However, before Mana was able to breed to her and establish his legacy, he died an untimely death. Apparently, Mana had accrued a significant buildup of mercury from all the fish he had eaten while adrift at sea. In a crucial time, Papahanaumoku went off and was able to find a promising heir, Kahaku, to lead the pack. Then, as an homage to Mana's home of Polynesia, and a reference to the paradises Mana reached in life and in death, the pack was officially named Poly Paradise.
To live up the name Mana, only strong wolves are allowed in this pack, and only the strongest of them are recognized with a name.
