Pinethorn pack
(I'll be ignoring the wolves given personalities for the most part so if you see a desc with a clashing personality, that's why)
LEAD WOLF-
The pack leader is the primary caretaker and role-model for the pack. The leader is often off exploring to get stronger and help provide for the pack. They are very much respected within Pinethorn pack.
CAVE OF CHANGING SEASONS -
These wolves just go wherever they're needed. The apprentices train in multiple areas and the adults guard the den and help the leader with storage until they are needed in a specialized role. They also help around the den with upkeep as the other wolves with specialized jobs are usually unable to do so.
CAVE OF SHARPENED CLAWS -
Hunters. Each hunting group learns to get along and start to become family. When a hunting party isn't working, they're either resting, helping keep track of food storage, socialising with other pack members, etc.
When a wolf from a hunting party is expecting pups, the rest of the group takes time off with the parent. They are one of the first wolves allowed to see the pups and are the most trusted wolves with the parents pups. Nursing mothers will often get back to hunting as soon as possible to make sure of the packs survival.
When a hunting member passes, the hunting party will take time off to grief and try to find a new member. Every night for as long as they wish, they will howl to the night sky to honor the passed wolf.
CAVE OF GROWING FLORA -
Herbalists, Pupsitters, Nursing mothers and Pups. Pupsitters are similar to hunting parties in terms of how close they are. The herbalist and pupsitters work closely together as the herbalist needs to keep track of the parents and pups health, before and after birth. Pupsitters become a sort of secondary parents to the pups as they spend a lot of time with them.
Herbalists hold a high rank within Pinethorn pack. They are the second-in-command in the pack and hold power almost equal to the pack leader. This also means the leader and herbalist often have a close relationship.
CAVE OF THE SOARING BIRD-
Scouts. They range the lands for items and possible dangers to the pack. When they aren't scouting, they act as unspecialized pack members. Due to their constant work flow, they are respected, but isolated outside of their fellow scouts. It makes them seen as "outsiders" within the pack. Their leader has tried to remedy this by giving the scouts more time to socialize with the rest of the pack, it seems to be helping but there's still work to be done.
Pinethorn pack is a peaceful group of wolves. Pinethorn pack are very close to eachother, treating eachother as family, some more than others.
Every pack member is valued an equal amount, everyone is important to their suvival.
