The Hemlock Hollow Pack
Hemlock is located near the base of the mountains, tucked away in a secluded hollow by Hemlock Lake. This area is lush with wildflowers like salmonberry bushes and lavender, and is edged by thick redwood groves.
The pack, while led by Kehali, consists of members working together to survive the harsh winters. Dynamics follow closely to realistic wolf packs, where alpha and omega dynamics are outdated. The pack is a unit of friends and family. A group working as one. It has become so large that multiple dens exist to provide comfort for every individual.
(PLEASE NOTE THAT WOLVES ARE NOT ORGANIZED INTO THESE PROPERLY YET AAAA)
Jasper Cliff
This den is home to Kehali and Thistle, as well as other wise and skilled members of the pack. These members are vital to the pack in more ways than one, and tend to be skilled in Herbalism or Hunting so that they can provide for the pack as well as possible. While outsiders may believe that this group is spoiled, it is entirely the opposite. They work hard to make sure everything is in balance, and always put the rest of the pack before themselves.
Sunspot Roots
A nesting den for wolves who are either pregnant or are pupsitting. This den is tucked away under a large redwood, its roots entwined deep below the ground creating elaborate burrows where wolves can safely sleep. Dried lavender and grasses line the dens, keeping the warm and clean while also disguising scent.
Tallow Rocks
This quarantine den is buried away in the back of the mountain, hidden between a crack in the rocks by a nearby stream. Wolves go here to isolate themselves from others to prevent the spread of disease. While this is a solemn place, dried flowers and herbs are hung as gifts and reminders to keep the soul strong. The location is named for the waxy appearance of the grey standing stones when sunlight flickers against it's surface, resembling tallow.
