Greywood Pack
Hello! I'm pretty new to Wolvden and have no idea what I'm doing, but wolves are cool and I'm having a good time.
Aspen Hollow is a shallow clearing in the dense woodland, marked with a bright grove of quivering aspens that shelter it from the cold mountain winds. Here, in a loamy hollow surrounded by curling ferns, draping boughs of proud coniferous trees and detritus swallowed by moss and needles, the adults of Greywood Pack rest, recover, and socialize after long hunts and unsuccessful wanderings.
Mossy Rockpile is a shelf of crumbling boulders that likely tumbled into the valley at the hand of some ancient glacier, or perhaps skidded off the side of the mountains. Regardless of their origins, the dampness of the forest has paved the way for the thick, verdant mosses that carpet the slopes and crevices of the shelter this loose rockpile provides, where adolescents tussle and play, and where nesting mothers nurse their broods in an earthen den within the stone.
Snowmelt Creek is a freezing, silty creek that meanders its way down the mountains, passing through the woods near the den. The ground here is slick, frigid, and muddy, but the water is cold and clean and swift and it is relatively secluded, making it an ideal location for injured or ill wolves to be treated away from their vulnerable packmates.
