Ironclaw Pride
The Ironclaw Pride lives in a particularly dark area in their forest. You'll never find their dens without a guide, well disguised by the thick undergrowth. You can walk right past their camp without ever having any idea.
You walk along the prey trails in the forest when a chill comes over your body. Something feels... Wrong. Dangerous. A pair of two wolves stalk out of the brush towards you, teeth bared.
"Who are you?" One of them asks. A large dark grey male with piercing brown eyes. You stumble to respond, before his companion, a gorgeous white spotted female, stepped in front of him.
"Are you here to visit?" She asks. She grins at you, her tail wagging slightly. "We don't get visitors often. Come on, I can show you around!"
"That doesn't seem like a wise decision, Siqueto," the male whispers. She scoffs, brushing him off before approaching you and standing by your side, nudging you forwards.
"Follow me!" She offers. You reluctantly follow her down what seems to be a maze of nearly invisible trails and paths. You both finally stop in front of a decent-sized cave, the mouth barely large enough for a dire wolf to make his way through.
You follow her into the cave, anxiety taking over you as you walk into pure darkness. You're forced to use her scent to figure your way through.
The cave opens up a bit, and it seems to get lighter. You can just make out the female you'd followed, and the male had followed behind you. A few tunnels break off from this main cave, leading to other caves. She turns back to you.
"On your left there is our medicine cave, our herbalist and his apprentice live there, with all of our herbs," she explains before turning to another tunnel.
"Down there is our hunters' cave. It's pretty much what it sounds like; our hunters sleep and live there. There's a tunnel that goes off there, and the scouts live in that cave," she continues.
She finally turns to the last tunnel. "And this is where our Alpha lives. Nobody's allowed in there without permission from him."
The male behind you scoffs and stalks down the very tunnel she warned you about. She just shrugs before smiling at you again.
"Feel free to look around! I'm sure everyone would like to talk to you too!" She walks off, a little bounce in her step, to sit in front of the Alpha's cave. "I'll be here if you need anything, and I'll escort you back to our border when you're ready to leave."
