The Yukon River Pack

About Our Pack

The Yukon River Pack was established in the fall of 2020. Their territory is located near the temperate valley glaciers and nestled in the mountains of Alaska (actual game home biome changes regularly). Pack wolves, grizzly bears, and moose are often seen at the river's edge. Ospreys, golden eagles and vividly-coloured mountain bluebirds fill the skies while salmon, otters, and beavers occupy the water.

There have been multiple lead changes since Corvidae passed in May of 2021. As a result this has caused a lot of changed over the years. That said, without the original teachings, primarily from struggles, of Corvidae, today's pack would not have survived. TYRP has experienced great losses, both young and old, but so many more successes. Each lead carries with them the teachings of their predecessor.

MAY 26TH, 2024: semi-returning from a year long hiatus. My hiatus was related primarily to my personal health problems. I finally had surgery earlier this year.

June 2023 - May/June 2024: return after extended hiatus.

February 2023 - May 2023: enter "Meet the Matchmaker" and one word: Hydrangea. DOVER HAD TO HAVE IT! Dov had never grind so hard during a Wolvden event and wasted no time tossing the base onto the G2 Torn Pie pair; Sour Patch & Laffy Taffy. Dover then made a G1 Hydra pair; Kool-Aid and Raspberry Slush.

Oct 2020 - February 2023: Dover started off focusing Warm Dark wolves and then transitioned to Monochrome Lights. Over time Dover blended their love of Monochrome with Dark. Dover also experimented with a few Specials and TIII, but nothing really stuck. Dover then started to experiment with colourbombs to make things more interesting. Fast forward to Black Friday 2022... while unable to donate at the time, Dover instantly became determined to get a G2 Pie Torn pair; success
