Winterfall

Welcome to the Winterfall pack!

Pack Happenings Timeline:

- Usko travels down from the mountaintop as a young wolf and meets Rumeena. They mate and start a family together. During his exploration of his new territory he meets Wulf, Peyton, Etra and Deysa. They join his pack.

- The pups are born! Two daughters named Runee and Iskara.

- Brina joins the pack as a herbalist.

- During a meeting with a friendly pack, Usko accepts the adolescent female named Shade into his family.

- Omarda, a strong-willed and cruel female, slinks out of the darkness and joins the pack. She immediately challenges all the other females in the pack for dominance and declares herself queen. Usko lets her be and the pack simmers with anger. 

- Tully, an adolescent male, alone and starving, finds the pack and joins gratefully. He becomes quick friends with Iskara and Runee.

- Usko breeds with Deysa and two new females are born, Duna and Minnow. Omarda eyes them, her teeth ready to do away with useless pups.

- Tiro, formerly known as Leaf, is discovered by Omarda at the start of winter. She brings him home and declares he is staying.

- Duna disappears mysteriously in the night and the pack despairs.

- Omarda falls pregnant to Usko and in the dead of winter gives birth to five pups. Despite the difficult season, they all survive until the spring and the reigning queen gloats over their strength.

- A new young female arrives at the pack and begs for protection. Usko and Omarda argue but Usko over overrides her and Daffodil is allowed to remain. She reveals she's pregnant and eventually gives birth to four puppies.

- One of Usko and Omarda's offspring is found dead after wandering off. Eagle talons have torn her apart. The pack grieves.

- Not long after, a second dies; mauled to death by a bear. 'They were weak,' Omarda growls at the news and retreats into her den to escape the looks of pity from the pack.

- The pack seeks out the father of Daffodil's pups and find him at the Acanthus pack, ruled by Solidago. They spend some time together getting to know one another, and despite Omarda's ire, forge a bond. They return to their packlands with a new pup in tow, a female named Risa that Rumeena immediately cares for like one of her own.

- Tully, Iskara and Runee grow to adulthood and take on the role of hunters. As does Tiro, though Omarda gives him her own place as scout, favouring over her own adolescent children.

- During Usko's many nights spent wandering, he returns with a young female in tow. Pebble is sharp-tongued and immediately upsets half the pack but the new adult is already pregnant with Usko's young.
