Eudromaeos
The era of prosperity is long gone. After two and a half decades, Eudromaeos has strained mightily under the weight of the changing world. Gone are the days of Cabazei's tenacious leadership, and gone is the age of Austro's calm confidence. The first warnings came in the form of strange plants, supernatural happenings, and disappearances of an alarming number--something the quick-witted but inexperienced Argestes was just barely able to deal with. Things would only get worse in the coming years as the lunar world began to bleed further and further into the waking land, sowing chaos and confusion in a pack that had become undeniably tainted by the energy of the moon. Divided, unsure, and lacking in resources, Eudromaeos struggled to stay on its feet. Pack identity and the common cause that had bound the founding members together was long gone in the wake of the world's shifting tides.
Now, the chaos has reached its height. Cataclysmic disasters and bizarre creatures roam the prairie just as comfortably as any rabbit. Lythronax, quickly growing older and wearier, is given one last chance to get a grip on the reins--to keep Eudromaeos together, and to keep them alive. Business can wait. In the desolate wake of a violent world, they'll have to act smart enough to survive it.
... And with survival comes change.
When the smoke clears and the rumbling stops, someone young and new steps clumsily out of the dark. Teratophoneus, Lythronax's singular surviving son, tentatively takes up the mantle of leader the only way he knows how--embracing the chaos and calamity as a part of daily life. He has never known a world without the unknown and the beasts. He has never known a world of wolves untainted by the beyond--and for all their strangeness, he has found it in him to learn to love that. But with love comes work, and with work comes strife--and the ultimate endurance of such is a story yet to be told.
