The Nox Atra wolf pack

^{Nox Atra (latin for black night), is a pack primarily consisting of wolves of black fur.
The pack Alpha, King Ferox (meaning fierce), and his Queen, Animo (meaning mindful), are set to raise a generation of black furred wolves that will serve both as warriors and mindful decision makers.}

^{Ferox's leadership and natural dominance are not the only reasons he found his place as a pack leader, he is also highly intelligent.
He has come custom to the fact that his unusually dark fur provides him with a ruthless advantage under the cover of night and amongst the shadows, making him an expert stalker as he blends seamlessly into the depths of darkness around him.
Ferox learned quickly that this advantage must be maintained through a future pack, and so when his now mate, Animo presented herself with her deeply dark fur and her charm, he knew she was destined to be his queen and bring him suitable heirs of dark fur.}

<sup>Although not dismissive nor hateful to wolves of lighter fur, Ferox and Animo maintain a selective rule that their scouts and hunters must be wolves of Black or Dark fur only. Wolves of lighter fur although not often accepted, are not given scouting and hunting roles and are instead given the role of caring for pups.

The Nox Atra pack although in its infancy, will come to be a pack of considerable strength.

Lurking in the night, creeping silently amongst the shadows, blending into the undergrowth.
