Schuldarrian Ranks are typically interchangeable with both the 'Mothertongue' and english, as seen here:

Runhal - Leader/Alpha (mate of alpha is also addressed with this title)
Vyrkash - 'Lead' Hunter/Scout (typically the most skilled wolf or wolves of their class, there can be multiple Vyrkash for hunting, scouting and pupsitting)
Valhymn - Herbalist/Shaman
Otraensis - Scout
Torhann - Hunter
Ulvae - Pupsitter
Ulvae Runhal - Pupsitter to solely the Alpha's pups (Often times one of the most trustworthy and experienced pupsitters are able to get this role)
Palres - A rare title, typically given to either elders of the pack who can no longer contribute to hunting, scouting, or wolves that are generally on 'standby' in the event of a catastrophic event to erupt
Vharannu - Adolescents and pups that are undergoing training and no longer need a pupsitter
Vharannu Runhal - Alpha's pups/adolescents
Olhanu - Pups that require pupsitters to protect them still
Olhanu Runhal - Alpha's pups

Rites to becoming the Runhal or Alpha are simple; you would either need to be the Alpha's mate, one of the Alpha's pups, or be worthy enough for the current Alpha to deem you a suitable heir. The Runhal is typically meant to be the pinnacle of being a member of the Schuldarr Revaeirn in some or many ways; be it wisdom, strength, speed or intelligence, with the Runhal's mate (should they take one) often times - hopefully - being able to compensate for what the Runhal themself may lack. This is why, often times, Vyrkash wolves will be chosen for this role if not the Runhal's mate or pups, as they will more than likely have close to as much, if not equal or more, strengths to weaknesses compared to the Runhal may have.
