Grimhallow

Grimhallow was founded by Misneach, a confident young she wolf with an interest in the occult. However, as kindly as she may appear in recruiting new members, she is equally ruthless in banishing them over infractions (or simply if they are deemed no longer worth feeding.)

Misneach has built her pack by taking in loners and orphans, but her preoccupation with a certain prophecy has caused her to fixate on wolves with odd coloured eyes.

Only three of Misneach's pups have been permitted to stay in the pack, and it is currently unclear who will inherit the lead role once she retires. The rumours about her and Shadow Weaver, the she wolf who was appointed as second in command, have been substantiated as the two formed an official pair bond.

As Misneach grew close to passing beyond the veil, the tension between her three offspring reached a dangerous peak, as each strived to claim the spot of leadership for themself. With other members also eyeing up the position, the pack teetered on the brink of civil war - not helped by Misneach pitting her own offspring against one another to fight for her approval.

Much to everyone"s surprise, however, Lorcan made a point of publicly swearing fealty to his twin sister Mishka, backing her claim to inherit the pack leadership and stepping back from the challenge himself. This political move so close to Misneach's retirement has changed the game - with the two eldest heirs standing united, other rivals are less certain of their chances to challenge for the position. With Meirleach no longer able to rely on turning his two siblings against one another, he was forced to back down. He has since been driven from the pack.

Mairfidh and Misniúil, Mishka's offspring, stepped up to continue the tradition of co-leadership. However, due to their clashing personalities and Misniúil's resentment at having to share power, things were... rocky.

Tensions only increased when it came to which of their offspring would be next in line, as there was no clear pair to continue the co-leadership tradition. Mishka's two eldest heirs both vied for the position, but Misniúil refused to allow his own daughter, Muireann, to be overlooked. He took advantage of Mairfidh's abrupt, devastating decline in health to back Muireann's claim to succession.

There are whispers that it is not illness that Mairfidh died from, though, and her eldest daughter Éirinn is determined to dig for proof...
