Mount Tartarus

Autumn, Year One

Cronus and Rhea, both supposedly blessed by the wolf gods, came to the mountains by their request. They accepted a few wolves into the new pack, and introduced them all to why they had been called there. This mountain held Tartarus, the place wolves went when they were cursed by the gods. Only those who were blessed with or had earned the gods blessings could reside here, and all others were sent to the depths. 

It was quickly accepted that they were not to endlessly sacrifice to the mountain, but any who wished to join, or blood born by the pack, were to be tested, sent to the depths for a short amount of time to see whether they were blessed. Upon discovering the first pups the pack bore were not blessed, it was determined no new wolves were to join in winter, for the depths would hunger more than the gods would whisper.

Spring, Year 1

Several wolves have been accepted and bred into the pack. Hercules and Naiad, the pack's youngest with promise, are close to beginning their training. Poseidon has fit into his role happily, and is breeding beautiful pups. Spring has brought many blessings, the pack flourished after a calm and pupless winter. Roles will have to be moved later in the year, due to young being trained and recent breedings. Hopefully, this will not effect the coming seasons.
