You walk cautiously toward the well-inhabited den, careful not to alert anyone of your presence. You watch from afar, only stepping closer to admire the details on each pup's fur.
You hear a crack, looking down to see a stick broken beneath your feet... all eyes are on you once you look up. The leader stands from their spot with a grunt, stepping over to you as they urge the puppies to stay back with a simple look.
The leader is in front of you, staring down at you from above. You take a step back, only for the leader to step forward, sniffing your scent. The sniffing stops just as quickly as it started, the leader deep in thought over your smell.
They simply nod their head once, deciding you are no threat to the pups or the hoard, allowing you to step foot within their den.
