Unsorted wolves are either slightly unwanted pups (if that makes sense lol) playing survival of the fittest, wolves to be or being sold or chased, or wolves waiting to be moved to a cave that has not been created yet. Each lead must be a daughter, granddaughter or great-granddaughter of the last lead. The lead's mate is not necessarily the stud.
