Primis & Faolo
The First Order:
In the beginning, there were two. Two young outcasts who latched onto each-other and decided that they had had enough of their vagrant lives. Together, this pair laid claim to a barren mountainside in the far north and named their territory Skar'ik.
To introduce them... Their names were Primis and Faolo.
Primis was a quiet but honest she-wolf, far from the largest or strongest but smart and willing to lay down her life for her beliefs. Her red-tipped coat always reminded her of the bloody snow she had faced when her birth pack had been obliterated by some unknown but vicious enemy, a scene she never wished to see again, that was for sure.
Faolo was even more of an oddity than her though. A sweet natured and easily-liked male, it remained a mystery how he had found himself on his own, a mystery he seemed to have no desire to dispel. Black as night, with greyish tips and delicate underlining of his extremities, his most striking feature had to be his skull-like mask of a face - pure white with deep set and humour filled lake-blue eyes. Primis thought he was really rather handsome, though, perhaps, his appearance wasn't to the tastes of every female...
Soon after they established their territory, the pair were joined by a trio of initinerant males; Amis, Grisou and Lonso. The three were happy to stay and help, hunting and exploring the territory with the young pair, though there was little doubt that as the seasons turned, they too would move on.
Before long too, Primis found herself and her mate the parents of a bright pair of cubs - one male and one female. Staris, their first daughter was cheeky and took after her father most of all. Green eyed and dark furred but with greying tips like him, she was beloved by the pair. Huske, their son, was... a different matter. In looks, he resembled a tame dog to a rather alarming extent and indeed he seemed to have a peculiar interest in the humans that occasionally passed by their home.
Then, whilst Staris and Huske were still tiny, a pair of females sought shelter with the pack. Neigied, dark and forlorn looking, wished for a fresh start and therefore Primis saw no problem with accepting her into the fold. Taiga though... She was young, barely older than Primis and Faolo, and from the moment that she joined the pack, Faolo took to her. On a realistic level, Primis had no issues with this - it was only natural that her striking blue coat would draw his eye! Saying that, she could not help but feel a twinge of jealousy all the same.
About the only positive was that Taiga brought with her four daughters, two who quickly became the close friends of Staris and two who seemed to be keener on hanging around with Huske. Primis had a suspicion that, should her son leave the pack, the pair might well follow him.
Nevertheless, she was proud.
From nothing, she now had a pack, now had a future and no longer was alone or in immediate danger.
