Pike Mountain Pack

Samhain and her mate Lunar Rise founded the Pike Mountain pack high up in the Rocky Mountains. Just below treeline, they settled in a well guarded mountain cave system. Wary of outsiders, the close-knit pack rarely takes in strangers and almost never let's them stay for long. Leadership duties are divided among the lead wolves, although the lead wolf holds the final say in any decision.

As Samhain grew older, she determined her daughter Imbolc would lead Pike Mountain Pack. The pack determined that every leader hereafter must be a female descended from Samhain and blessed with her beautiful Howlite coat. Imbolc, was the first of Samhain's heirs.

Throughout her life, Imbolc failed to produce a female heir with a Howlite coat. As the time for Imbolc to retire approached, the pack looked to Beltane, the strongest of Imbolc's daughters. Although her snowy coat did not follow pack tradition, she was the clearest choice to lead the pack. That is until Imbolc had a surprise litter very late in life. Among that litter was a dark and strange little pup bearing Samhain's Howlite coat. She came to be called Storm Warning.

Storm Warning was different than any leader before her. Adventurous, motivated, and strong, but less personable than her ancestors. Beltane, though already groomed to assume leadership, stepped down in honor of tradition and Storm Warning inherited Imbolc's position. As a trainer leader, however, Beltane served as an invaluable beta to her adventurous sister.
