Stumbling into unknown territory...

... And emerging from a narrow passage, it gives way to a massive view of an ever expanding ecosystem of fauna and flora alike. You stand in awe for just a moment, a silent moment, and surrender to a small gust of wind that welcomes you to paradise. It whistles through your fur, and you close your eyes and give in to the call of nature.
How peaceful.
But you stood for just a moment too long...
You open your eyes and are met with another pair of eyes staring right through you.
Actually, it's two pairs.
Another wolf steps out from behind the other and makes its way towards you, eyes fierce with intent.
You are paralyzed by their piercing gaze.
You cannot move.
Your vision fades to black.

You are awoken...

... To the sound of synchronized howling. The harmony jolts you awake, and you see you are surrounded by many wolves, wolves that look - and sound - unnatural.
They all stop at the same time, and the silence is deafening.
One wolf steps forward and speaks.
"You have traveled far into the mountains to reach my territory. With whom do I have the pleasure of welcoming into my paradise?" She cocks her head slightly and smiles, but the smile is unnerving.
You tell her your name. She nods.
"You're welcome to stay... For now. You won't remember us or this place when you make your leave, anyways." She smiles again, that unnerving smile. Is that a threat? Or a promise?
