Lunaris Night Pack

 You run and run, trying to get away from the shadows chasing you. You stumble off a ledge and lose your footing. You land in the middle of a small opening. You look up to see that the Shadows are no longer chasing you. Looking around, you notice wolves. Some sitting by an open campfire, others on rocks talking and cuddling. A few scurry in and out of caves carved into the mountainside. A female with Caramel fur gets up from her spot and walks to you. The female she was with, a black and white wolf, follows. "Hello, I am Sibella." The Caramel wolf says, looking at you with kind eyes. "I am Luka, the Second. " The other wolf says. Together, they both help you stand and lead you to the fire to warm up. They both then lay down, Luka laying at Sibella's paws, while Sibella stares at you with curiosity. "You are safe here. The Shadows do not follow those who walk into the light of the Moon." She woofs. You feel a sudden sense of warmth and welcome. The other wolves don't seem to mind your presence and continue on with their lives. You look to Sibella, and ask "Who are you? Why are you in the Mountains?" Luka looks at you and says in response, "We are a pack of wolves from the ancient island Maude. We are free-spirited wolves living under the celebrations of music and nature. Our Alpha leads us all alongside her Companion, the Second - Me. The Second leads the Hunt. She and her group of hunters, go out hunting and the Second always has the role of Stalking."

 "The Pack is built off of the Healers, the Hunters, the Pupsitters, and of course, the Alpha. The Healer, called the Shavaw (Sha-V-ow), is often found with the pups. The Healer is in charge of teaching and guiding the healer to come along their journey. They also heal all in the pack. The Lead Scout, called Aboc (Ah-bo-ch), is in charge of sending out the other scouts and deciding where they should go. The Lead Pupsitter, called Nokar (Noh-kar), is in charge of the Alpha's pups. Every job is valued, and the whole pack works to keep the pups and generations alive. The Seeker is a more complicated role. It is hereditary and only wolves born into the Devero Lineage may take the role." Luka turns to look at another female sitting by a male. Her coat is reddish with black and white marking and her eyes reflect the moon in a prism of colors. She looks to you once, nodding her head at the Alpha and Prima, before returning her attention to the speckled male next to her. "Rani," Luka begins again, "is our current Seeker. She is mated with the Shavaw. She often helps guide the Alpha through the Spirit world. Sometimes called the Dreamworld, it can be a dangerous place. She is here to guide."

"We wolves live under the Alpha with our tails held high in pride. We love all and defend our own. The rules..." At the sound of Luka's instruction, the others slowly go quiet. They all chime in, even Sibella, for the rules, "

1. Alpha's say is law. No one goes against them or they are a traitor. 

2. We respect all. If you are not foe, you are friend. 

3. Love is love. We don't care who you love, just that you are you. 

4. All for one, one for all. Pack is pack and we are a family."

"We walk alongside our Queen, the Moon. All children born of her blood are blessed. We follow her will, as told." Sibella stands and looks to the moon, Luka joins. And soon, all the wolves are standing. Sibella howls and all of the world seems to join in. The opening lights up with Blue dazzling creatures that come and scurry around the wolves. Blue owls take to the sky, and the world seems to light up. Then, all is dark.  The Fire...
