I Halftooth Tribe was founded 2020-09-25 @ 10:12:20 WD Time by the first Lead Wolf, Rock That Parts The River.
Named after the river that runs through their territory, the Halftooth Tribe follows the traditions of their progenitor tribe.
Each wolf is named for a memorable event or sight their mother witnessed during her pregnancy. They are only gifted their full names once they reach adolescence, before that only going by a simplified version.
These simplified versions are often used later in life as nicknames.
Names can be changed if the wolf sees fit. This is often celebrated much like the day of their first name being given, as the changing of a name usually happens only after a notable event in a wolf's life.
- It's uncommon for wolves to change their names based on a negative event, but it can happen.
Wolves share sleeping space based on their roles/life stages.
In the Halftooth Tribe, knowledge is prized above all else. Not just of the territory, but of others. Forging alliances with other packs is something deeply prized, as it helps carry on the most important tradition to them.
Upon reaching adolescence, pups are sent out on their own. It's important that they know what their options are before they decide where to live. They're welcome to come back whenever they need. Some decide to stay in the pack, others set out on their own.
