- Laius has passed a law: No wolf may mate and have puppies without first proving that their genetics are worth passing to the next generation. This is done yearly through demonstrations of multiple skills and tasks. Only one pair may breed in a year cycle. If a pair breaks this rule and has puppies without the permission of the pack leader, they then have two options: They can forfeit their pups to the enclave once they are weaned and then suffer a punishment as well as being banned from breeding for one year cycle, or they can leave the pack with their pups to start their own.
