Jagged Stones

These woods hold a mysterious air to them. The air cold and an unidentifiable scent masking everything else in the forest, it causes many curious souls to explore, but they never return from their trip to the Bitter forest full of jagged stones. You are not scared of such pup tales, and head in to explore, but you come to realize your mistake when you cannot smell your own trail, and become lost. Just as you lay down from running around in a panic, ready to give up, a low, but soft voice speaks, "Are you lost? I can lend a paw.." you look up to see the owner of the voice is a average sized cream wolf, his eyes a soft and welcoming glow to them. 

"It's rude to stare..." another voice rumbled from behind you, and you spin around to face the hulking mass of a dark monochrome male whose red eyes are narrowed in jealousy. These two are the alphas of the Jagged Rocks pack, two males with kind souls.

The Jagged Stones Pack is lead and founded by Alpha Carno Morgan and his mate, Badger Morgan. The pack is situated in a foggy forest that is littered with sharp edged stones, where one slip of the paws could end you. The wolves that call this forest their home are sure footed and agile, taking advantage of their rather deadly surroundings. They trick deer into these stones, as well as malicious intruders. Overall the pack of Jacked Stones is rather welcoming to those who get curious about their mysterious forest, and to those who get lost.

The pack hasnt always been one of great skill and agility. The pack was truthfully struggling for years, with most of their older members succumbing to the forest's natural traps, or dying on hunting trips, so the pack's food income was solely on yearlings. The pack was starving, until the pack founder, Carno Morgan went on a quest when wolves we're mysteriously vanishing. At the end of that quest, a hard decision had to be made: The spirit of a mother wolf was demanding her puppies be returned, and it was up to carno to supply those puppies. He chose one of his granddaughters, and his own daughter to be sacrificed to the spirit known as Bronagh. After the pups were given to the mother spirit, it took a week for their hunting parties to become more successful. Their bellies started to become more full, the pack was no longer walking skeletons, and litters were born large and healthy. In fear of this blessing passing, the wolves of Jagged Stones began to sacrifice two pups every season, and their pack thrived under this. No one saw the sacrifices as mean or cruel, just a way of life. The pack began to worship the spirit Bronagh, leaving gifts of nesting material and prey items between pup sacrifices.
