Pack Leader Star Anise was kept illegally as a pet until she broke out of her inadequate fencing. She guides her ragtag pack with a light touch and all the wiles she learned among humankind.
Her heir, Scarecrow, caught Anise's eye with her bravery and kindness—a combination the pack had been sadly lacking. Perhaps, as Scarecrow prepares to take up the mantel, things will change for the better.
