This feeling washes over you, prickling your skin underneath a thick coat of fur. Within the darkened forest appears a set of eyes; Empty... Watching.
You cannot make out the shadowed figure entirely. Does it even have a true form?

You wait, frozen, until the figure turns and you catch a glimpse of a moss-coated tail.
Lucky you. It seems to have decided you are no threat, but the feeling of unease fails to dwindle.

It only watches.

Once again, your paws sink into the underbrush of the forest entangled in your memory. You were drawn here, unsure why or by what. You look warily for the piercing, empty eyes of the spirit you last saw, your heart pounding within.

Instead, an unfamiliar wolf seems to emerge from the ground with foliage and mushrooms sticking to her form. Meeting yours, her eyes are tired and gentle.

With a brief nose touch, no words are spoken, and you are sent peacefully on your way. Yet as you turn, your heart catches as those deep, soft eyes are replaced with that haunting glow you know too well.
