The Legend of Frostfall
There's a pack high in the mountains that moves through the boreal woods like icy ghosts. Their coats reflect the snowy terrain they inhabit, and they are rarely seen outside of the frozen pines. They rarely speak to outsiders, but some wolves who have traveled through their territory insist that snowy apparitions appeared to help them in their times of need - leaving behind small carcasses when prey became scarce, or guiding lost wolves through snowstorms. Some scoff at the tales, blaming the sightings on imagined shapes in the snow.
Those that exist call them the Frostfallen.

In reality, those who have taken the name of the Frostfallen are no spectres - just reclusive refugees of a broken pack. The pack's founder, Loka, split from their birth pack following a violent and bloody conflict, and held her little band together for the rest of her life. Now led by Loka's protégé Signe and her twin brother Keeli, they keep to themselves on the snowy mountainside, rightfully earning their reputation as ghosts.
Frostfallen wolves tend to be female (though a few exceptions exist), even-tempered, and peaceful, with coats that blend into their wintery home. They are wary of strangers and fiercely protective of what is theirs, but known to be accommodating to those in need. Will you be brave enough to take a chance and approach?
