North Star
Welcome Traveler....
You must be exhausted. It is the middle of Winter after all. The cold seeps into your bones, stabbing into them like needles as exhaustion sets in, eye lids are growing heavy as limbs sink like lead into the snow, you're on the verge of giving up when you see something. The wind kicks up snow and…what is that? It looks like a wolf made of the brightest of blues and coldest of greys is running at the front, wherever it goes the wind follows and for a moment you lock eyes. Theirs glow, burning into your soul and it feels like ice is forming around your heart. This being turns, slowing to a trot, and eventual stop right in front of you. As you look closer it seems like snowflakes are falling right from her pelt.
"You poor thing," their-her-voice is soft as mist, "sometimes I forget not everyone can survive this cold. Come with me." She leans in close, blue eyes burning brighter-then everything goes black.

"Atlas," a voice sighs, "you really had to bring them here like this? They're almost a popsicle!"
"Well I couldn't leave them in my blizzard!" The voice from before exclaims.
"Loba, leave her be, what matters is that I was able to heal them." A third, younger voice sounds from above.
"As always, Sabra is the voice of reason." Another voice-how many were there?-said, voice soft as leaves falling on the breeze.
"Thank you Afrin," The other voice responded.
Finally, you manage to open your eyes, lifting your head you see that you're surrounded by four wolves, each of them giving their own intimidating auras.
"Oh!" The female from before comes closer into your vision. "You're awake, good."
As you push your way to your paws the others back away and looking around you see yourself in a large clearing and just beyond is a lake being filled by four waterfalls. This clearing is filled with multiple dens as various wolves mill about, some peer at you with apprehension while others watch over careless pups. There is an air of calm surrounding this place, putting you at ease.
"Where am I?" You ask, trying to scent the air but everything is muddle. There is a cold breeze flowing from one direction, a hot breeze from another, amber colored leaves drift down from the sky and the aroma of flowers tickle your nose. As you try to gauge where it's all coming from your gaze is brought back to the waterfalls and peering closer you see…one is encased in ice while another is surrounded by flowers growing from cracks in the cliff, another holds red and gold leaf trees while the other has dry grasses around the top.
"You," a pink toned she wolf with a crown of flowers and eyes glowing rosen is by your side, the scent of flowers growing stronger, "are in the land of the North Star, the place where all four seasons meet…"
"A place where we straddle each season" A wolf covered in a headdress of fallen leaves adds.
"A place where the Gods of the seasons thrive with their pack while ensuring order on the world." A female who seemed to glow from the inside out continues.
"Gods who bring each season to a beginning and end…I am Atlas Cloud, Goddess of Winter." The fae who brought you here adds, like this all makes sense.
"I am Sabra, Goddess of Spring." The floral scented one speaks.
"I am Afrin, God of Autumn." The one on your other side says.
"And I am Loba, Goddess of Summer." The female speaks, addressing you with an easy grin across her maw.
You stand there, dumbfounded. These wolves were meant to exist only in fairy tales. They were the ones who made the world, made it possible to live in and yet…here they were in front of your eyes. The elders spoke of them in awe, they always said that without these spirits who reincarnated at the end of each life time were the reason for everything in existence and you, lucky traveler, just got to meet them.
"Come,," Via speaks again, "we must introduce you to O'Rion, the day and night of our pack."
