Deep in the heart of the frozen Carpathian Mountains, a howl cuts through the night air.

It's a strange sound, almost songlike, almost ethereal, drifting through the skeletal and naked branches of trees reaching to the cold moonlit sky.

"Hurry your step," the locals would tell you. "It's late, and the Bonequeen and her Woodghosts stalk the woods at night."

The Bonequeen. The Dead Songstress. The Ashen Witch. Whispered tales of this creature and her ilk are… unflattering. Even as a visitor to these woods you've heard most of them, but what do you believe?
