Iron Claws

A black and beige she-wolf with padded through the woods. "Oh, what will I do now..." she mutters. She had been cast out from her former pack, and now she was all alone. Suddenly, she heard a rustle. "Who's there?" she growled, her voice shaking with exhaustion. A brown male wolf with a black back and yellow eyes stepped out from behind a bush. "Long time no see, Onyx." he said. "Muddy!" Onyx exclaimed happily. Muddy had been Onyx's best friend since the two were pups, but Muddy never found out that Onyx had deep feelings for him. Muddy had been cast out from the pack long ago, being framed for murder by his older, evil sibling, Midnight. Muddy ran to Onyx and nuzzled her affectionately. "Where have you been?" Onyx asked Muddy, nuzzling him back. "Oh, here and there." Muddy replied. "To be honest though, it's been a bit lonely." he added. "Well what re you doing here?" Onyx shifted her paws uncomfortably. "Midnight cast me out of the pack..." she huffed angrily. "Midnight!?" Muddy snarled. "That piece of dung!" Onyx nodded in agreement.
