Dreamings

As Ghost walked through the dark school, the floor around her melted, and a magnetic field surrounded her keeping any metal away.

Dex rounded the corner up ahead of her, encased in white, shadowy armor. In his right front paw was a black locket, clutched tightly. His face, although hidden, was gritted with determination.

"You'll never win!" she cackled menacingly. "She's mine!"

"Not if I get this locket on you." he barked, stepping forwards.

"Like that'll happen." she replied in a dark tone.

He ran at her suddenly and jumped, reaching out with the locket.

The wall flies off the ground and smashes into him.

He winces and falls to the ground, but his armor protected the blunt of the impact and he's able to keep it solid.

Walls surround Ghost, forming a protecive square barrier.

"Hey, that's unfair! Yellow card!"

She cackles "This is no game!"

A shadow-like sledgehammer formed on his paw and he bashed it into the walls, using more dark tentacles to push against it to give it extra force.

Lava crept up the walls encasing them.

He growled and smashed it harder, but the lava kept healing the walls.

In a fleet of realization, Dex noticed that there wasn't a wall protecting above Darkness/Ghost; he jumped up into the air and created a shadow platform in midair, jumping off of that too, and fell into the small space inside the walls with Darkness from the top, the necklace spread wide to slip over her head.

"No!" She shrieked.

He dropped the locket over her, and for effect (hoping that this would convince her more that the locket was real) he whacked some tentacles against the walls, creating a loud clap.

"Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to win!!!!!!!!!" The floor suddenly turned to lava.

They fell into the lava, Dex not having enough time to react to it. His armor shielded most of his body from it, but it leaked in through many places, and he was barely able to keep in his surprise and keep the armor up.
