Walkers of the line between life and death

Glassy blue eyes peer down from the rocky cliffside, the only thing visible amongst the thick fog surrounding you. Many have warned you against coming this far into the mountain territory, and you are only realizing now that you should have listened. A young voice calls out to you, and you look around wildly for the source of the voice. The empty eyes of a translucent puppy stare down at you from a tree branch, they look delighted. "Hey there, stranger! Have you gotten lost in the fog? I can guide you out, no worries. It happens quite often, actually. "

The scurrying pack, dwellers of the mountains and notorious for their evasive nature. The healers in the scurrying pack descend from an ancient deity, giving those born with the deity's blue eyes the ability to see into the afterlife and seek the guidance of spirits. Many wolves of the scurrying pack have this ability, though only the oldest and wisest will have the healer role. The scurrying pack is incredibly passive and often avoids confrontation, therefor making them somewhat hard to approach by other packs.
