i missed the halloween event...so if you wanna make me super happy, gift me halloween decor/skins :D i also am always in need of food, amusement items, healing items, lucky feet, bone marrow, nesting material, herbs (charcoal, dandelion, tobacco, kava, winterfat, redwood sorrel, aloe) backgrounds, plant decor, bundles, rare recipes, flower crowns, canine claws/fangs, wolf tails, wolf pelts, bear pelts, musilid claws, bug decor, applicators and bases, fae event and lunar event items!
The wolves within the Unseelie Pack are far from normal canines -- they are fae creatures, living tucked away within the dense semi-temperate forests of the Sidhe, straddling the line between the real, the liminal and the fantastical. They typically appear as normal wolves at first, albeit bigger and stronger than a regular wolf, with intense glowing eyes, but once one takes a closer look at these fae creatures, they will realize something is just not quite right about them. Depending on the wolf, they may have all sorts of features that simply do not belong on what we know as wolves -- saber-like fangs, multiple eyes, wings, antennae, scales, chitin armor, strange markings, whip-like tails, and the distinct impression that one shouldn't even be able to see this beings.
Fae wolves are able to preform feats of magic, and are inherently connected to different aspects of the earth around them. Some fae wolves are connected to the power of flame like pack leader Valeriu, allowing him control over flame and resistance to heat. He is the font of flame that lights the way for his pack through the dark nights of winter, the warmth that celebrates the power of summer, and the forest fire that will wipe out any who cross the Unseelie wolves. Other fae wolves, like Valeriu's mate, Sahar, are masters of winter and ice, and feel at home within the icy slopes and tundra of the world, and find home within the deepest frost, unbothered, perhaps even emboldened by it. Some fae wolves don't embody traditional elements, but rather are manifestions of brutality, beauty, plague, drought, fertility, abundance, and other aspects of nature. They are known to steal pups away from packs and replace them with their own fae pups, in order to give their own pups a chance at survival, for the lands of the fae are treacherous and dark.
This particular Unseelie pack is a devision of a much larger Court of Fae wolves and other creatures that inhabit this world. There are many fae creatures out there, of endless varieties and forms and with powers beyond one's wildest dreams. Since they exist in a realm between the supernatural and the mundane, these creatures are liminal, and can exist in multiple places at once, but they must always eventually return to their original physical bodies. However, they are not all-powerful, like almost anything else, they have their fair share of weaknesses that are common among almost all fae. The Unseelie Wolves are weak to human processed iron and other artificial, non-magically conductive materials like plastic and steel. A Fae's glamour can be broken by a wand or staff made from rowan wielded by a powerful sorcerer, and Fae are often prone to taking things very literally and acting upon this literalness. The Unseelie Wolves find refuge in dark forests and caves and moorland, for they find bright light to be irritating due to their nocturnal lifestyles. Individual Fae wolves are not immune to their own personal flaws and weaknesses, and have their own drawbacks and strengths just like mortal creatures, they are not infalliable despite their great power.
