BRIEF OVERVIEW
Pack Name: Yliaster (also known as Iliaster or Yliastrum) is a term which most likely comes from Greek "hyle" (matter) and Latin "astrum" (star). In alchemy, it is used to refer to a completely healed creature that has burned away all the useless aspects of its lower nature and has become free to fly like the Phoenix. Here it is used to refer to an obscure sub-species of the Eurasian wolf, canis lupus yliastrum, and the territory they call home.
Era: Stellan (SE), more broadly known as the Mythic Era.
Main Lead: King Tingståd Hefensson, the fourth monarch. He is the son of Brujah and Ulo Hefensson, and the direct descendent of Stella Signata. His family have long fought for the recognition as the true rulers of Yliaster, but he has yet to prove his worth to the pack.
Secondary Lead: Ŀöḳệŕ - leader of The Wildkyn Horde in Storm's Nest.

12th of Birknår - Bonding ceremony between Varsol of Varngaard and Lumen'ari, a descendant of Aki the Ancestor.
13th of Birknår - After a month of trekking through the wintery wilderness, the royal spy Ethra makes it to Yliaster to report on all she has found while living undercover with the Wildkyn. On account of her bloodline and as reward for her services, she is accepted into Clan Varngaard. Meanwhile, her betrayal has sparked outrage and suspicion among the Wildkyn up north. Yliastrian calendar is updated and corrected to the new standard, making the current year 621 of the Stellan Era.
14th of Birknår - King Tingståd suffers a serious leg injury after a routine patrol of Yliaster's northern territory goes wrong. Investigation of the area revealed that a deliberate trap had been set up to injure Yliaster's monarch... Who is the culprit? General Bosun Ava'al retires, passing on leadership to Lodalskåpa Haalmór. His daughter Vlaakith Ava'al takes his place as the new finisher of the Kynsguard.
20th of Birknår - Rout Varngaard, the patriarch of Clan Varngaard, passes away from old age in the deep night. He is succeeded by his only son, Varsol. Chief Gyrd Varngaard II becomes the new head of the clan - as well as the father of a firstborn daughter Eydís Varngaard II. The pup survives 3 lunar cycles and is trained to become a future warrior, like her legendary father and ancestor Eydís I, founder of the Auxilliary Patrol.

YLIASTER
Heyrasjátaland: Current members are Gjöll the Enduring, Bréifne & Queen Ingun. Gjöll is The Speaker, she delivers messages from the Queen to the Kyn and from the Kyn to the Queen, except where individual attention is needed. Bréifne is The Listener, she listens to the land and all that moves in it, and is attuned to the spirit world. Queen Ingun is The Watcher, she watches for danger and mischief, both inside and outside Yliaster, she also knows things about the two-legged strangers - humans. The Triad congregates in the most ancient and mystical part of the land, the place where Stella Signata first appeared in the world.
Northbreak Point: Generally considered the border between Inner Yliaster and Outer Yliaster, this is a snowy, mountainous region patroled by the Kynsguard, the most revered hunters and protectors of Yliaster. No one may get through Northbreak Point without the permission of the Kynsguard. The members include: Vlaakith daughter of Bosun, Princess Onni, Lodalskåpa Haalmór, Gjöll the Enduring, Aurvandil LaFenn and Sigrún.
Primeval Wetlands: As the name of this territory implies, this is a land full of swamps, marshes and treacherous woods, populated by unique flora and fauna. The Auxilliary Patrol reside and hunt here, commanded by Chief Gyrd Varngaard II. The patrol is, in essence, an extention of The Kynsguard and abides by the same code of honour. However, the wetland wolves are hostile and will not hesitate to attack trespassers.
WILDKYN HORDE
The Wildkyn Horde: The outermost territory of Yliaster, Storm's Nest is mainly made up of hardy misfits known as the wildkyn, who believe in the freedom to rule themselves. Although their lands are fertile and green, human activity is not uncommon and can sometimes be a threat. In Yliaster, the wildkyn serve an important function as the first wolves to spot approaching dangers, and may even be so kind as to guide friendly visitors to Inner Yliaster. The wildkyn are normally scavengers and roam alone or in pairs, but they do form hunting teams in the winter to survive. However, recently the wildkyn have become more organised and there are rumours of an imminent uprising... Fiadh Ava'al, the heir of Yliaster, is held captive by the wildkyn here, though some say she is actually in love with the wildkyn leader, Ŀöḳệŕ...layout by #202
