BRIEF OVERVIEW
Pack Name: Yliaster (also known as Iliaster or Yliastrum) is a term which most likely comes from Greek "hyle" (matter) and Latin "astrum" (star). In alchemy, it is used to refer to a completely healed creature that has burned away all the useless aspects of its lower nature and has become free to fly like the Phoenix. Here it is used to refer to an obscure sub-species of the Eurasian wolf, canis lupus yliastrum, and the territory they call home.
Era: Stellan (SE), more broadly known as the Mythic Era.
Main Lead: King Tingståd Ravenspeak, the fourth monarch. He is the son of Brujah and Ulo Hefensson, and the direct descendant of Stella Signata.
Secondary Lead: Hergest Lokersdottir, second alpha of the Wildkyn Horde.

21st of Vindiir - Chief Ymir LaFenn of the Auxilliary Patrol dies from a lethal fall down a ravine. The pack mourns.
23rd of Vindiir - Unable to secure an heir to succeed him, King Tingståd blames his wife, Queen Ingun, and the two sever their bond. Ingun, still weaning her pups, is put in a vulnerable position at court, but remains strong and defiant. Will there be any allies to help her?
24th of Vindiir - In anticipation of the coming battle, the king and his trusted Triad recruit fresh blood. While Saga Steel-Song and Lodalskåpa Haalmór step down from their previous positions, they are succeeded by Athragar son of Hvítá and Ramaria daughter of Elspa Ravenspeak. Sigrún is appointed General of the Kynsguard and Varsol Varngaard becomes Chief of the Auxilliary Patrol. Although king Tingståd's reign has seen much controversy, bloodshed, feuds, and all manner of other struggles, the aging monarch has finally managed to rally the Truebloods under one government, one pack, one purpose. Even in the depths of winter, it seems the pups are born plump and strong. Meanwhile, the Wildkyn death rate has stabilised since retreating into the forests. For now, they know nothing of what is to come...

YLIASTER
Heyrasjátaland: Current members are Gjöll the Enduring, Bréifne & Queen Ingun. Gjöll is The Speaker, she delivers messages from the Queen to the Kyn and from the Kyn to the Queen, except where individual attention is needed. Bréifne is The Listener, she listens to the land and all that moves in it, and is attuned to the spirit world. Queen Ingun is The Watcher, she watches for danger and mischief, both inside and outside Yliaster, she also knows things about the two-legged strangers - humans. The Triad congregates in the most ancient and mystical part of the land, the place where Stella Signata first appeared in the world.
Northbreak Point: Generally considered the border between Inner Yliaster and Outer Yliaster, this is a snowy, mountainous region patroled by the Kynsguard, the most revered hunters and protectors of Yliaster. No one may get through Northbreak Point without the permission of the Kynsguard. The members include: Vlaakith daughter of Bosun, Princess Onni, Athragar son of Hvítá, Gjöll the Enduring, Aurvandil LaFenn and General Sigrún.
Primeval Wetlands: As the name of this territory implies, this is a land full of swamps, marshes and treacherous woods, populated by unique flora and fauna. The Auxilliary Patrol reside and hunt here, commanded by Chief Varsol Varngaard. The patrol is, in essence, an extention of The Kynsguard and abides by the same code of honour. However, the wetland wolves are hostile and will not hesitate to attack trespassers.
WILDKYN HORDE
The Valley of Lost Souls: A dramatic name, isn't? This used to be Lyfjaberg. A sanctuary for puppies and their guardians. A place of happy memories - once. Then there was a massacre and fear. Now this valley is inhabited by a mysterious pack known as the Sythians. To both Truebloods and Wildkyn, a pack of wolves living in a place of such trauma and superstition is at best insane and at worst outright sacrilege. They say the trees bleed. They say many things. They even say that Sythians are not quite wolves, that they shapeshift. What do "they" know?The Wildkyn Horde: The outermost territory of Yliaster, Storm's Nest is mainly made up of hardy misfits known as the wildkyn, who believe in the freedom to rule themselves. Although their lands are fertile and green, human activity is not uncommon and can sometimes be a threat. In Yliaster, the wildkyn serve an important function as the first wolves to spot approaching dangers, and may even be so kind as to guide friendly visitors to Inner Yliaster. The wildkyn are normally scavengers and roam alone or in pairs, but they do form hunting teams in the winter to survive.
