BRIEF OVERVIEW
Pack Name: Yliaster (also known as Iliaster or Yliastrum) is a term which most likely comes from Greek "hyle" (matter) and Latin "astrum" (star). In alchemy, it is used to refer to a completely healed creature that has burned away all the useless aspects of its lower nature and has become free to fly like the Phoenix. Here it is used to refer to an obscure sub-species of the Eurasian wolf, canis lupus yliastrum, and the territory they call home.
Era: Stellan (SE), more broadly known as the Mythic Era.
Main Lead: Alpha Eydís Varngaard II, fifth leader of Yliaster, first to rule by might rather than by blood.

The Wildkyn War concludes after two generations of bloodshed, thanks to a new leader - Alpha Eydís Varngaard II. The Truebloods of Yliaster emerge victorious over the Wildkyn Horde, whose survivors are assimilated into Yliaster by force. As a result of this momentous event, the Triad marks this as the beginning of a new era - Tribal Era. The royal Stellan representatives are now relegated to a symbolic position within the pack, as the fledgling concept of voting begins to take form across the war-weary territory.
A nursery is reinstated.

YLIASTER
Heyrasjátaland: Current members are Chief Varsol Varngsard, Aleuria & Ingun Ravenspeak. Varsol is The Speaker, he delivers messages from the Alpha to the Kyn and from the Kyn to the Alpha, except where individual attention is needed. Aleuria is The Listener, she listens to the land and all that moves in it, and is attuned to the spirit world. Ingun is The Watcher, she watches for danger and mischief, both inside and outside Yliaster, she also knows things about the two-legged strangers - humans. The Triad congregates in the most ancient and mystical part of the land, the place where Stella Signata first appeared in the world.
Northbreak Point: Generally considered the border between Inner Yliaster and Outer Yliaster, this is a snowy, mountainous region patroled by the Kynsguard, the most revered hunters and protectors of Yliaster. No one may get through Northbreak Point without the permission of the Kynsguard.

OUTER YLIASTER
Sythian Valley: This used to be Lyfjaberg. A sanctuary for puppies and their guardians. A place of happy memories - once. Then there was a massacre and fear. Now this valley is inhabited by a mysterious pack known as the Sythians. A pack of wolves living in a place of such trauma and superstition is at best insane and at worst outright sacrilege.
