Sacred blood ties
It all began many generations ago, with a formidable black male wolf named Ivar. His eyes were crimson red, the same color as the blood of the other wolves he slaughtered who dared to oppose him. He and his sister Lily were caught mating by their parents, the siblings had fallen in love, and no one not even their mother and father would keep them apart. The parents tried to separate the siblings, which proved to have dire consequences. In a fit of rage, Ivar lashed out, brutally attacking and killing them both. Instead of being horrified by her brothers actions, Lily supported him. She'd also grown resentful of her mother and father, so she didn't grieve their loss.
