I haven't played in.. 1-2 years? I'm mostly on lioden, and I'm just getting back into wolvden now

Those blessed by the stars carry black, white, and blue markings. Exceptions are rare
Those blessed by the stormclouds have blue and grey markings. No Exceptions
Those are blessed by the prey have tan and brown markings. Exceptions are uncommon
Those blessed by the stones have brown and grey markings. Exceptions are rare
Those are blessed by the snow have pure white fur. No Exceptions
Those are blessed by the night have pure black fur. No Exceptions
The pups who run like the wind, open their eyes early, and talk their way out of danger are destined by the sun and moon to be scouts
The pups who are bigger than their littermates, grow their teeth early, and win in play are destined by the sun and moon to be hunters
The pups who run behind their siblings, climb the rocks like mountain goats, and care for others are destined by the sun and moon to be herbalists
The pups who rival their largest siblings strength, go to the nursery in their free time, and value the soul of their prey are destined to be pupsitters
Pups gain their destinies at 3 months old.
Although, these roles may differ between wolves. There are flighty hunters, scouts who bite back, herbalists who cause wounds as well as heal them, and pupsitters who are strict in nature. A wolves destiny is merely a suggestion, in the end.
The pack leader is chosen by the herbalists, and must travel to the territories highest peak for a full day after the ceremony.
They bring food, and water to sustain them for the time there. If they leave the peak before the full cycle, the sun and moon have compelled them to do so, and another wolf must be chosen. The next pack leader can be chosen even during the current leaders reign.
Mutations in this pack are.. rare, but not impossible. You may be thinking of melanism, albinism, or something of that sort but you would be wrong. The mutations that have been seen in this pack before come in the form of wings, scales, extra eyes, etc.
