Stories tell of a group that wander the plains, living amongst jagged rocks and fields of lavender. They hunt on their spiritual grounds, caring for the land. Summer drives the pack to remain amongst their dens, however winter brings travel, as they follow in the steps of their ancestors to find prey. This nomadic lifestyle is preferred, and summer is considered the season of dormancy.
The marauders see their dark pelts to be a gift from Lupus, granting them stealth within the tall grass (coat code). Those who do not conform to this standard are considered weak, not fit for the hunt, and typically left to care for pups and patrol. |
