Observatory Pack
The Observatory Pack—a place that any may join, but none shall leave. Why don't you stay and rest, traveler? Queen Star and Overseer Selene would be more than happy to welcome you into our ranks...
Queen/king/monarch — The leader of the pack. They hold nearly sole power over everything, and those who go against their word are subsequently... well, to put it simply, they 'go missing'.
Overseer — The second in command. Often blood-related to the leader or perhaps a mate—never both, though, stars forbid—they keep a close eye on the members of the pack and report back any suspicious behavior to the leader.
Officers — Trusted members of the pack, often allowed to handle pups or explore places outside the territory. Whether they wear officers garb is up to them.
Cadet — An officer in training. Still a trusted member, but put under the observance and guidance of a senior officer.

One could say that the Observatory Pack began long before its time. As a young adolescent, Star was part of the Evergreen Pack, done in the coniferous forest. Her life was no less than privileged, born to the pack leader Jasmine and beta Comet, spoiled rotten by them. It was during the Total Lunar Eclipse Festival---a tradition in the Evergreen Pack---that a fire broke out, and in the chaos, Star was separated from her pack. It was then that she encountered the Lunar Fairy(link), settled by the river and seemingly totally unaffected by the nearby inferno.
