Deadridge

Within the pack, some wolves can have two roles. Members with two roles are generally greatly respected, and probably have done a lot for the pack. These wolves are also most likely to be chosen by the pack to be the next alpha whenever the current alpha passes. (The featured wolf would be the next likely leader.)

♛ = Leading Wolf
-Wolf leading the entire pack, and is responsible for most of the packs actions.

✿ = Herbalist
-Deadridge typically has one med-wolf who acts as a doctor and treats injuries and illnesses.

✤ = Herb Apprentice
-Young wolf being mentored by the Herbalist. Upon the herbalists death the apprentice becomes the herbalist and a new apprentice will be chosen. The new herbalist will take the previous herbalists suffix into their own name. but keep their prefix.

▼= Hunter
-Wolves that fight and hunt for the pack and ensure everyone has gotten fed.

△= Scout
-These wolves find new territory, new huntings spots & foraging areas.

♡ = Birthgiver
-Female wolves whose only job is to give birth to pups, they are respected among the pack. These wolves are still capable of scouting, hunting & fighting, but are only put up to it if there is an emergency, or if they they feel the need to do so.

♥ = Pupsitter
-Those who watch the pups, like a babysitter. They also still can fight, hunt and scout, but they're number one job is to usually help mothers watch their young.


Apprentices are all named with a Prefix at birth, (Ex: Leaf) they get their prefix when they finish training (Ex: Leaf Water; their mentors name was Falling Water.) Completing training Is a way of showing strength, and that you proved yourself to the pack through being mentored, and earning your full name.

- Young wolves under the mentorship of a hunter. During training, they are taught how to stalk, chase, and properly hunt prey.

◇ = Scout Apprentice
-Just like adult scouts, these young wolves are taught how to search for territory, foraging spots and hunting areas.
