You approached the thick deciduous forest. The strong smell of the alpha's scent mark made your nostrils flare and your fur bristle in alarm, but you quickly dismiss the uneasy feeling and tread through the secure borders. It's a very mystical forest, you stare at the sun rays shining subtly through the rustling leaves of the dense trees, the gentle stream of the river calming you slightly. You quickly snap your attention to what's in front of you, and see a white wolf with a black cape tower over you and gaze at you with an unreadable expression.
"What brings you here?" She calmly asks. Her lips curled into a soft smile, her slightly wagging tail to gesture that she was no threat.
Your heart thumped with both embarrassment and shock that she appeared so quickly.
"I-I want to join your pack.." You began.
"I've been kicked from mine a-and I can't last a day out here!" Your eyes glint with mercy, while the unknown canine's soft gaze glimmered with hope. She nodded slightly, "I understand. Come this way." She turned on her paws and jogged away, you quickly following by her bushy tail.
