Silver Akota
You wade through the dark trees, covered in snow, when you suddenly hear rusting ahead of you. You stop moving, instinctively, and watch a small patch of reddish-white fur scamper away from the edge of the tree line ahead. Moving forward cautiously, you sneak forward, smelling a vague scent of flowers and wet fur.
You push past some evergreens as noiselessly as possible, feeling almost as if the branches were grabbing at you in warning. Out of nowhere, a pair of cold blue eyes appears right ahead. You yelp and fall back, crawling out into the open, hoping the space would allow you a fighting change against whatever beast has found you out.
As you look up, your hasty breaths fogging your nearsight ever so slightly, you notice a bulky wolf with silver fur, moving away from you, past a beautifully flowered field where all kinds of wolves had stopped in their tracks to observe you, some bemused, others unimpressed. You recompose yourself and by the time you dust all the snow off, you notice off to your right the colossal rock protruding from the ground, its mouth-like opening almost perfectly shaped like a crescent moon.
Deep within, you notice the same piercing blue eyes, beckoning you to come forth.
I am Lakota, of the Silver Akota. Please, step inside.
