[The Mountain Territory]

Despite not being related by blood—brought into the pack as a young pup lost in the mountains—Akuji inherited the role of Lead Wolf of Infinitus from Maelstrom when the grey and white wolf had suddenly been struck by an unknown sickness. Maelstrom trained them as well as she could before she passed just before Akuji's 1st birthday, with the former leader's mate, Tempest, taking over their training until she, too, passed on from grief.
