Waffle pack

You feel like you've been walking forever, making your way through the tundra, The sun had started rising bringing the crisp morning air with it, you haven't been able to find a safe place to rest and regain your energy each cave already housing a cougar a bear and a couple of humans.

You're fur has a layer of frost speckled on it and your paws are sore from the travel you make your way towards a river, however as you get closer you discover that it was completely frozen in a thick layer of ice. Disappointed you Turn back around and catch a whiff of another wolf, they smell, strange... as if they were dead, afterall you don't know anything in the area that has such a smell to it.

"Are you lost?" The She-Wolf spoke as she trotted out of the darkness. She had sapphire blue eyes and a raven pelt with a large pair of feathered wings. Her slightly transparent appearance is a give away that she is a ghost? Maybe a spirit?
Your body teases and your lips curl into a snarl showing your Fangs, ghost or not you are ready to defend yourself. Unsure if it is possible or not.

"Hello, no need to be on guard, i am no threat. my name is Midnight. I was the first leader of the waffle pack. almost 500 moons ago now." Looking at the river then back at you she turned around, looking back at you. " you must be tired, follow me and I will show you the way to the pack. They are friendly and will allow you to rest up so can continue your journey home." She turned her head back around and started walking to the tree line, hesitant at first you end up Following closely behind you both slip into the shadows of the trees.
