elu is the second leader of mimiteh, the land of the new moon. her territory consists of barren forests burnt and cut down to aid the long gone humans, the lushness of its prior state never to regrow. flocks of ravens pick at starved corpses, swallowing down the little food they have as they taunt the wolves that inhabit this wasteland. 

still, the wolves live on. they survive here, thrive even, prowling ancient woods and stalking down the little prey they can find, hunting down the murders that fly ahead that remind them of better lands, of better times. elu’s only wish is that her daughter's reigns be prosperous.
