Phantasm Valley

The Phantasm Valley is a lowland hidden from sight by hundreds of trees. In there, wolves reign, maintatining the balance of light as the healers of the forests. Other animals know them to be benevolent defenders yet also fierce hunters, and both respect and fear their fangs and claws.

The names of the wolves are all in the Ancient Tongue, spoken by the pack themselves. They symbolise a wolf's virtue that parents hope will get passed on to their cub from the name. The Valley's name, Phantasm Valley, comes from a strange phenomenon - many claim to see the spirits of the passed wolves in the lowland, although others claim this is merely an illusion of a tired eye.
