Aster of Family Asteraceae
After a frigid winter, new life begins to sprout, sticking itself in-between cracks of fallen debris and leaves. Flower petals curl open under the warm sun, blossoming after the hardship of winter. Such as the flowers, I wonder if I will bloom or be stunted by the hardships I have faced.
Prologue:
You stumble into an opening in the forest. The ground is littered with wildflowers. You slink forward, holding your breath, you have entered the domain of The Family Asteraceae.
