Moonhollow Pack

You wander into a grassy clearing, and begin to hear water babbling in the distance. A pleasantly strange scent floats in the air, sharp and cold, almost dusty.
You're considering going fishing, when the second smell hits you.
A wolf? No, many wolves. A pack.

Your hackles raise and you scan your surroundings, on the alert.
That's when you see him, from the top of a sloped grassy hill a lone gray wolf's unnaturally blue eyes pierce you, impassive.
Seeing you freeze, he approaches you, slowly and calmly, showing neither fear nor aggression.

As he comes into clear view, you see there is a silver crown that sits between his two long black ears, and he wears adornment on his tall frame.
Pausing just within hearing distance, he barks, "Are you lost? This place is Moonhollow territory."
"I was just exploring. I mean no harm."

He pads assertively toward you, close enough to get a good whiff. "In that case, welcome. My name is Arrow, I lead this pack. You are free to take a look around for a short time, if you don't mind being accompanied. We can offer a meal and a place to rest if you're in need. But Elaxi, our scout, will have to escort you home by sunrise. Understood?"

Lit coldly by the moon, he nods and turns to lead you deeper into the meadow.
