Helicity Pack
"SRH (Storm Relative Helicity) is a measure of the potential for cyclonic updraft rotation in right-moving supercells, and is calculated for the lowest 1-km and 3-km layers above ground level." -spc.noaa.gov
Helicity Pack is unique in its behavior as a whole. Hunters are trained to stay low to the ground until they are closer to their prey, preferring to get close and use their incredible speed over improving their stamina. They also are notorious for being good at weaving through dense foliage during hunts, and for ambushing hostile trespassers. Though they aren't nomadic, they do tend to move away from their borders in search of smaller packs to attack, as their size is ever-growing and the combative nature of their alpha takes over.
Their name comes from a combination of their hunting and battle tactics. Besides the fact that they rely on speed and stay low to the ground, they also prefer to attack during storms, when the sky is dark, the rain hides their scent, and thunder blocks the sounds of them rustling through the undergrowth. Their name also comes from their favorite battle formation: The Corkscrew. The strongest wolves take up the back end of the formation while hunters fill up the middle, covering their flanks as swift scouts file into a single line. Once the scouts are fighting, the hunters follow with the heaviest hitters bringing up the rear.
