Grimsby
Chapter I: Welcome to Grimsby
You wonder through the forest in a dense fog. It was difficult to see more than a few paces ahead of you. You dragged your paws along the leaves, exhausted from the hike. Where were you? How far had you walked? Where was Tala when you needed her?
"Oi."
Your internal dialogue came to a halt at the deep voice behind you. With trepidation in your stance, you slowly turn your head back to search for the owner of the voice. It was a young wolf, no more than two winters old, but his posture maintained an air of authority. There was a distinct silver star between the ice blue eyes which contrasted his monochromatic gray and silver fur. A necklace with a glowing blue crystal hung around his neck brought a curiosity to you. Though, the way he looked down at your exhausted and famished frame sent a shiver down your spine.
After his period of studying, a small smile quirked onto his maw. "Ye seem lost, lad."
You opened your mouth to reply, but you were interrupted by his movement toward you. You winced in preparation for a fight. You were only met with the brushing of his tail against your shoulder as he walked passed. He looked back toward you. "You can tell me about yourself on the way. The dawn is creepin' up on us soon." He took another step before making a small pause. He turned back to you with a small, but playful smirk. "Oh, and ye can call me Duke. Welcome to Grimsby."
