As you wander through the mountain territory a group of wolves passes by. They stop and turn to face you.
"New here?" The lead wolf growls, giving you a questioning look.
You nod.
"Well then, this is the territory of Delayed Decay. Strangers aren't welcome here if you haven't noticed." she snorts.
She backs you up until you're past the scent markers that you just now noticed.
"Stay on that side of the border" her lips curled back in a menacing snarl "Or problems shall arise."
The she-wolf trots past you in the direction of the other biomes, her patrol following close behind.
As one of the other wolves passes you, he snaps at your tail with his powerful jaws, and growls "Keep a close eye on your surroundings stranger... and try not to fuck with the wrong wolves..."
The wolf then turns to rejoin his patrol.
You look ahead and in the distance on the mountain side you spot an opening that must lead to the opposite side of the mountains, no doubt where those wolves came from. You spot a figure standing near the opening, he seems to be staring directly at you. From this distance you can't tell exactly what he looks like but what you can see is the blue glowing tear drops running down his muzzle, his claws also glow that same vibrant blue, and it is as if blue fire blazes upon his pelt. How... strange.
