Floating Pack

To believe in light, one must acknowledge the shadows it casts. It is inevitable, where there is light, there is also darkness. All came from the darkness, all came from nothing, only for the first light to shine in the dark.

They say the first light was a wolf, nameless and alone, their pelt holding celestial and otherworldly properties. As they moved stars and planets were formed and left in their wake. At the end of their journey they slept forevermore, their body slowly dissolving to form the stars in the Earth's night sky. They say that Earth is their ever resting heart, and from their heart the first wolves were born: Luna, Sol and La.

Luna believed in the calm of night, thriving in the darkness other animals came to fear. She moved in the shadows and spoke in gentle whispers. She was smart and agile.

Sol believed in the strength of light and bravery. He was bold and never afraid to convey what he thought. He spoke in a blunt and respected tone. He was strong and fast.

La was the first to speak and bring communication. She believed in peaceful ways and that all life was equal and valued by their creator. She spoke in song that resonated with all. She was wise.

The three became known as the Saints of the First Heart. After their deaths it is said that they live amongst the stars, each shining brightest depending on the month.

Leaders of this pack are blessed by the Saints of the First Heart. It is said that after death leaders become gods and goddesses representing the mortal world.

The current leader is Queen Gaia, the Wayfinder.

She was born under the star of Saint Sol in September. She is the first leader, confident and kind to all. The pack currently lives in peace and unity in the safety of the mountains.

The brightest star in the night sky is the star of Saint Sol.
