Dark Wood Walkers

You have entered the deciduous forest.
Tall dark wood sprouts of of the ground, towering towards the sky, meeting the luminous clouds with dark green round leaves. The roots of the trees randomly have sprouted out of the ground around them, making small arches and thick lines of wood on the forest floor. Shrubs cuddle against the trunks of the thick trees, berries resting in the shade of their crowded leaves. Critters chirp, crow and call out into the forest, and for a second you feel as if it's just you.
'Yeah..'You think contently, crawling into the shade of a tall tree, resting in it's thick roots. You allow your eyes to close, only part- way still wanting to keep an eye out for predators. But you, young wolf, never know the danger that lurks within the wood. The danger that lurks right before your muzzle.
